    Preventive Health Care and Vaccinations

For Birds we offer annual exams, wing trims and nail trims as well as medical and surgical treatment. We also have a warm room for intensive care of sick birds.  We recommend every pet bird have a complete annual exam yearly to avoid costly surprises. Oftentimes the first signs of illness in a bird is death. Please call for an appointment.

For Small Animals - Rabbits, Ferrets, Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice and Rats we recommend annual examinations including fecal testing. We also provide husbandry and nutritional advice at time of the exam.

For Reptiles - Snakes, Lizards and Turtles we offer exams, nail trims, fecal exams, environmental and husbandry consultation, and medical or surgical treatment when indicated.

For Adult Dogs and Cats we do vaccinations (which include the annual exams). Other services include: dentistry and dental supplies, parasite testing, surgery and some grooming.

For New Puppies and Kittens examinations are strongly recommended before exposure to other pets in order to provide early detection of congenital problems and infectious diseases.  This also allows us to set a schedule of vaccinations and discuss the proper care of your new pet.  We also encourage owners to ask any questions they may have about their new family member.  This is an excellent time to start a positive relationship with his/her new doctor.

If you don't see your type of pet listed, just ask, chances are that we would be happy to see it.
